Third-Party Risk Management Analyst

The Third-Party Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Third-Party Risk Management team in conducting daily operational and risk analysis tasks requiring completion to remain in compliance with the Third-Party Risk Management Program. Adheres to the policy, standards, guidelines, tools, models, systems, procedures, information integration, and processes within the Third-Party Risk Program. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

·     Continuously monitor third-party vendors and report on any significant changes or risks to management.

·     Conduct risk assessments of third parties to identify potential risks.

·     Aid in the team’s preparation and involvement in internal and external regulatory examinations.

·     Review third-party files for completeness and work with business units to update accordingly.

·     Manage the third-party risk management system records, keeping it accurate and current.

·     Facilitate processes in compliance with Third-Party Risk Management standards, policies, and procedures.

·     Facilitate the remediation of issues with vendors and management and escalate matters in relation to the third-party risk management processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

·     Knowledge of third-party risk software.

·     Competent working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements as applicable to the third-party risk management function.

·     Proficiency in various software applications (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, web-based and in-house applications, etc.).

Industry and Work Experience:

·     Minimum 1 year of experience in risk management or other relevant experience required.

·     3 plus years of experience in risk management preferred.

·     1 plus years of analyst experience preferred.

Academic:

·     High school diploma or GED required.

·     Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or related field preferred.
