Threat Targeting and Allocation Specialist

Qualis LLC is currently seeking a Threat Targeting and Allocation Specialist to support The Threat Modeling center in Colorado. The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System. The TMC Threat Targeting and Allocation Specialist is the MDA’s subject matter expert responsible for performing “Red Team” targeteering and weaponeering of adversary systems against US and Allied assets. This position is located on Schriever Air Force Base.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the modeling and simulation of intelligence credible threat ballistic missile attacks against US and Coalition forces

• Understanding of each threat country’s differing capabilities, preferred Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and strategic objectives for any given scenario and be able to apply these capabilities to the specific scenario

• Functions as the threat targeteer and from the adversary’s perspective assigns a ballistic missile from that country’s Order of Battle against specific targets, and then functions as the threat weaponeer, assigning a specific warhead to each missile used in the attack to achieve the scenario’s training or engineering objective

• Process results in an end-to-end threat attack laydown file that is modeled by the TMC, providing the kinematic output data of simulated ballistic missile trajectories

• Assist with customer scenario requests and provide feedback on potential problems or issues before the production process begins
