Job Title: Thrift Store Manager
FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt
Reports to: Director of Retail/Corps Officer
Schedule: 40hrs/week, Tuesday-Saturday
Supervises: Assistant Thrift Store Manager/Sorters
Rate of Pay: $18.25/hr

The Store Manager will provide leadership to the other employees. The Store Manager will be responsible for all Daily banking and all reports to be completed on a daily basis. We keep the sales floor well stocked with clothing and other merchandise.
Duties and Responsibilities
To follow all Store policy To make sure that the store is fullu secure at the end of the business day. Will instruct store employees hoe to maintain an attractive store. Will be responsible for all daily reports To train all employees and volunteers regarding all safety rules and regulations To Make sure all employees are meeting their quotas for processing Will keep store fully stocked of merchandise Will serve all customers in a courteous manner Will be responsible for donations and to keep the warehouse tidy and neat. Will train community services workers on how to process merchandise Will work with all store employees to keep the store tidy and clean. Will hold monthly safety meetings and Code Adam drills. Will perform other duties assigned by Director of Retail and Corps officerEducation, Experience, Skills, Qualifications:
Education:
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have some retail experienceSkills:
Possess good customer service Able to follow verbal and written directions Able to work with excel and word To make suggestions to DOR and Corps Officer about what is needed in the store.Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of ageDriving:
A minimum age of 21 (for insurance provision) and possession of a valid in-state driver's license is required an MVR will be processed every year in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies.Background Check:
Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two years) background check that is processed in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies.Physical Requirements:
