GEORGIA TECH

The Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) and Legends formed a first-of-its-kind partnership to combine opportunities across multimedia rights, premium seating, ticketing, data analytics, business intelligence, and e-commerce into one integrated relationship. The partnership will take a customized and holistic approach for identifying new, engaging, and entertaining platforms for corporate partners and Yellow Jacket fans to connect with Georgia Tech athletics and position the Institute for success and growth in the evolving collegiate athletics landscape.

THE ROLE   

The Ticket Sales Representative is primarily responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals around the season, group, and premium ticket packages goals. We are seeking a team member with a positive, results-oriented, who can communicate clearly across all platforms. The Ticket Sales Representative will work under the guidance of the Director of Ticket Sales and Service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The candidate will be responsible for offering a full menu of seating opportunities for Georgia Tech Football and Men’s Basketball ticket packages. Execute outbound sales calls on all potential customers through prospecting, cold callings, and referrals from current customers. Setting and conducting in stadium, arena and out of the office appointments sales appointments. Identify and manage a portfolio of 500+ season ticket members, annual fund donors and supporters with specific affiliation and/or giving interest to Georgia Tech Athletics Association. Effectively use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions. Assist with managing and stewarding existing pledges and payments from unassigned donors. Using primarily online digital strategies, in addition to phone and in-person outreach, you will cultivate our donors’ relationship with Georgia Tech, solicit their support of University priorities, and steward their generosity. Serve as a main point of contact for general athletics donor inquiries that come in through inbound phone, email, and social media. Work in conjunction with Georgia Tech Athletics Association and Ticketing staff to promote and generate sales on all events while providing a great fan experience. Reach and exceed individual and team sales revenue goals. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events and game days The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s Degree 1 year of prior sales experience preferred Prior experience working in the professional or collegiate sports and entertainment industry is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in software programs including Salesforce CRM and Paciolan Ability to handle heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills Strong time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word and Excel Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
