This role involves blueprint reading, precise fit-up skills, quality inspections, and optimizing processes for efficiency. You will contribute to a highly skilled and detail-oriented manufacturing team that values safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesOperate welding equipment safely and efficientlyPerform TIG welding on sheet metal and light plate with precisionRead and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fit-up and assemblyConduct quality checks using appropriate measuring toolsMaintain, store, and properly use all tools and inspection equipmentOptimize welding processes for maximum efficiency and productivityPerform daily/weekly machine maintenance and maintain welding fixturesQualifications and Requirements3+ years of TIG welding experience with sheet metal and light plateStrong blueprint reading and fit-up skillsAbility to perform basic math calculations (fractions, decimals, metric to imperial conversions)Benefits and PerksCompetitive hourly wage based on experienceAccess to health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for ongoing professional developmentYour New OrganizationThis company is a leading manufacturer specializing in precision welding and fabrication. The base pay range for this position is $24.00 – $30.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
