The Kelly Group is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for its Lafayette, Indiana, location and work in the surrounding area. Candidates should own their own hand tools and have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience working with process pipe, preferably in the grain industry.\n

Per diem may be available depending on the job location.\n

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:\n\nRead and interpret blueprints, process flow diagrams, sketches and product specifications\nPass a bend test on a 2-inch schedule 160 carbon steel pipe in 6G position using GTAW to become certified\nComplete work using safe work practices\n\n

Other preferred qualifications sought include:\n\nOSHA 10-hour or equivalent training\nIndustrial construction experience\nFamiliarity with AWS, ASME and other welding codes and practices\nAbility to travel, requiring staying out of town for multiple weeks at a time\n\n
