**Job Title: TIG Welder - 1st Shift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be fabricating custom automation machinery using various ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The main tasks will involve MIG and TIG welding, fabricating parts using power and hand tools, and measuring parts with tape measures and blueprints. You will be working with welds ranging from 16 gauge to 1" thick on mild steel and from 18 gauge to 1/2" thick on stainless steel. Some pipe welding will also be required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fabricate custom automation machinery.
+ Perform MIG and TIG welding.
+ Work with welds from 16 gauge to 1" thick on mild steel and 18 gauge to 1/2" thick on stainless steel.
+ Conduct pipe welding as needed.
+ Use power tools, hand tools, and tape measures to fabricate parts.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for mechanical assembly and machine builds.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2 years of welding experience and 5 years of fabrication experience.
+ Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
+ Experience welding mild steel (16 gauge to 1" thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2" thick).
+ Custom fabrication experience in a job shop environment.
+ Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
+ Experience using hand and power tools (grinders, combination square, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measure).
+ Basic computer skills, including working with 3D models and blueprints on a computer and ERP software.
**Work Environment**
1st Shift: 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, with optional hours on Fridays as needed (ranging from 4 to 8 hours). The facility supports several industries including automotive, sporting, and aerospace.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
