Essential Responsibilities:
Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in the preparation of all payroll activities for submission to Corporate Payroll for processingProvides leadership, guidance, and training to team by assigning and outlining specific activities, advising on technical problems, and reviewing individual workAssists the Time Capture team in implementing the appropriate processes to ensure all reporting is accurate and timely per operational and divisional requirementsCollaborates with key stakeholders to offer ongoing support to business operationsLeverages technical expertise to support system enhancements and provide recommendations for future developmentReviews new contracts (Collective Agreements, Pre-jobs, etc.) to identify payroll implications and monitors operational business process changes to ensure required changes and workflow are addressedQualifications:
Completion or working toward Payroll Compliance Professional Certification3 years of experience within payroll or similar functionPrevious supervisory experienceProficiency in Microsoft ExcelRelevant time capture experience within JD Edwards, InEight, Quickbase, OmniPrem and Billflex or similar softwareCollaborative mindset, strong communication and analytical skillsCommitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service skillsWork Conditions:
