Reporting to Operations, the Time Entry Administrator is responsible for the oversight of the time entry process and reporting as well as ensuring timely and accurate management information and analysis that facilitates local decision making at the Nutrien phosphate operations. This includes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all time entry transactions and reporting, OT analysis, time exemption analysis and trouble-shooting. The role is also responsible for ensuring time entry compliance with both payroll and the complex union policies and procedures. This role requires daily communication and coordination with Operations, Site Finance, Site HR and the HRSSC.

 

What you will do:

 

Maintain a safe office environment General oversight of the time entry process Exception time entry for non-exempt personnel Perform time entry for hourly personnel and follow up on exception reporting  Complete schedule substitutions for short term shift changes Create and maintain electronic time sheets with corporate changes Ensuring time card approvals are obtained  Prepare weekly and month end and ad-hoc reporting requirements, including various OT reports to the site leadership team Maintain regular communication with Site HR regarding employee time for (STD, LTD, TERM etc.) Validate and confirm time is ready to be pulled by Loveland for processing each pay period Provide training on timecard completion for new supervisors Provide training in SAP time entry for back-ups Create and maintain timecard and time entry process and training documentation

 

What you will bring:

 

Business Certificate with specialization in payroll or equivalent experience may be considered (particularly in Oracle/SAP) Experience working in manufacturing environment is preferred Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing with both internal and external clients at varying organizational levels Competent with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
