In this position... 

We are seeking a Timekeeping Single Point of Contact Representative to partner with our plant locations, Central Time Keeping Office-CTO, and other support personnel to provide timekeeping assistance, improve the overall employee experience and pay accuracy of hourly personnel.

Ability to analyze data and use technology to identify and diagnose business needs Self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to details Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team-oriented, strong drive for results  Customer service focused Experience or familiarity with TWOS/WF1/Kronos/ and HRIMS

Even better, you may have...

Bachelor’s Degree. Previous manufacturing plant experience. Accounting/Payroll experience.

What you'll do...

Provide daily support regarding hourly employee timekeeping issues, including the ability to explain pay related contract language such as but not limited to: overtime premiums, AWS-alternative work schedules and their pay rules, deductions, backup pay calculations, shift premiums, shift start times, holiday pay eligibility, vacation shutdown administration, layoffs, SWW-Short Work Week Calculations, and AWS Bridge Past Period Adjustment submissions with locations. Work with (HR/Labor Relations, Controller’s Office, Supervisors, Central Timekeeping Office, Superintendents & Local UAW Committeepersons). Provide timekeeping/coding guidance to all individuals responsible for hourly pay Assist in resolving escalated Past Period Adjustments. Support Overtime verification with plant personnel. Support New Hire Orientation with pay check overview. Audit all holiday pay submissions. Review backup pay, SWW, overtime, etc., adjustments based on submissions from operations. Perform all short workweek calculations based on operational events. Report on all metrics related to timekeeping/coding. Independent audits of inputs for timekeeping adjustments. Assist with absence code changes.
