Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIE SAND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Recommend services and solutions based on customer interaction, customer needs, parking lot automobile diagnosis and individualized automobile consultation

Provide professional, courteous, and prompt customer service experience through benefit-selling processes and procedures

Perform basic diagnostic tests and assist in training other Team Members in parts knowledge as needed

In charge of parts sales, focusing on the tires and service sales and utilize specialized knowledge to perform the sales  

Comply with the company targets and AAP sales programs and strategies.

Perform daily tasks established in the Company’s daily plan in order to reach sales targets and keep the store in high quality standards for our customers

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrate an eagerness to be a team player and assist in other functions as assigned by the store management team, including, but not limited to: cleaning, organizing, stocking, operating POS equipment, truck loading/unloading, etc.

Working knowledge of automotive systems, and capability to diagnostic in order to give recommendations to solve vehicle problems

Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals (English and Spanish)

Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment

Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years experience in automotive or retail customer service, high school diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license; ASE Certification preferred, but not required

The noise level/vibration in the work environment is usually moderate.
