Our client, a large company is looking for a Tire/Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bakersfield, CA. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining tire service equipment, performing tire-related repairs, and ensuring a clean, functional, and customer-friendly work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires; repair punctures and ensure proper inflation.Inspect and maintain tire service equipment (tire changers, wheel balancers, air compressors).Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.Communicate with customers about tire conditions and recommend services as needed.Assist in inventory tracking and tire ordering.Maintain accurate records of services performed.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.Ability to diagnose and repair common tire and equipment issues.Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy tires.Familiarity with different tire types, treads, and materials.Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and cleanliness.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $16.50/hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMAdditional: Must be available to work every other Saturday
