This role supports the EVP, Enterprise & Non-Financial Risk on strategic business initiatives and ensuring effective communication with investors, analysts and other key stakeholders.  The Director, Strategy & Investor Support serves as a thought partner and strategic advisor to ensure specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Leads and drives a customer-focused culture. Deepens client relationships and leverages broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Supports GRM leadership with the management and enhancement of communication strategies and messaging to effectively convey the bank’s risk profile, performance and risk management practices to analysts, investors and other external stakeholders.  Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging. Collaborates with stakeholders across GRM, Finance and Business Lines in the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting. Monitors and analyzes market trends and regulatory developments globally related to risk management to support priorities and inform communications. Assists in the development and execution of strategic projects and business initiatives that drive value for Global Risk Management and the Bank. Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout accountabilities. Creates an effective and efficient operating environment, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

3-5 years of experience in management consulting or investor relations Strong understanding of risk management principles and financial markets Strong communications, presentation and stakeholder management skills Strong business intuition, results-focused, performance-oriented Strong management and interpersonal and influencing skills Self-reliant and results oriented
