 Purpose

Responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the HR Knowledge Management strategy and oversight and governance of Global HR Content, ensuring alignment with the established requirements and guidelines for HR Policies, Guides and other materials. This includes maintaining HR content management tools and HR content, ensuring alignment with the established quality standards and criteria.

 

 

 Accountabilities

Champions a customer/employee focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge Writes clear, concise, and consistent knowledge base articles, ensuring the tone and writing style exemplifies the Bank’s global brand voice and ScotiaBond values Partners with Content Owners and Subject Matter Experts to create compelling and relevant article content that enables employees to self-serve Crafts content that proactively addresses peer and stakeholder questions and concerns, considering the goals, motivations, and context of the intended audience(s) Helps identify and advocate for best content processes and delivery methods in different multidisciplinary teams and digital channels Understands users’ behaviour and synthesizes metrics and research outcomes into viable content and communications that help improve the employee experience Manages knowledge management intake queue responding to content owners within established SLAs Supports the optimization of Ask HR content through search engine optimization, managing keyword ontology, taxonomy, and metadata Manages content review process aligning to HR Risk and Control governance to ensure HR content is up to date and accurate Ensures data maintenance is in accordance with established guidelines and standard regulations Collaborates and consults with Content Owners to ensure accurate input and update of global HR content and knowledge management tools Promotes the use of self-service functionalities by ensuring HR content is presented in a user-friendly and accessible design Creates internal and external resources required to support globalization of HR functions (eg. Payroll, TA) Supports Knowledge Management globalization by leading efforts to move countries’ inventory into Ask HR Analyses Ask HR reports to determine updates to Ask HR People are Viewing links for each country and language Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within their respective area, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment

Education / Experience / Other Information

 

Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business or pursing education in related field CHRP designation is considered an asset Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) required Knowledge of information management within service and transaction-oriented areas Excellent organizational and management skills. Be able to handle project complexity as well as manage diverse stakeholders.Able to work effectively with others and thrive in collaborative environments. Proven teamwork and communication skills Strong analytical skills
