Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Compensation assists all aspects of compensation processes to ensure pay structures remain market competitive and effective in attracting and retaining crewmembers. The Senior Analyst collaborates with People departments and workgroup Leadership in addressing compensation related matters. The Senior Analyst also collaborates with other members of the People, Payroll, Legal, Finance and IT departments as well as Leadership in analyzing compensation related data.
Essential Responsibilities
Assists with day-to-day compensation administration including reviewing offers, assisting with crewmember pay inquiries, generating reports, and supporting Talent Acquisition in hiring decisions Leads the annual compensation planning for salaried crewmembers or workgroup pay reviews Performs periodic salaried and hourly pay reviews Develops detailed market analysis that is presented to leaders in the organization Conducts market pricing of positions based on geographical location; reviews proposals for new or revised positions to determine appropriate pay grade assignment Participates in industry and compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine the company’s competitive position Reviews industry surveys for market movement and new trends regarding pay approaches Counsels Talent Acquisition and crewleaders on compensation administration policies and procedures Participates in the development, communication, and implementation of compensation programs and reviews effectiveness of current plans Performs pay equity reviews, profit sharing, other analyses as assigned Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related area; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience Three (3) years of compensation experience Knowledge of principles and practices of compensation to include design, review, company alignment, and implementation Knowledge of federal, state and international laws governing compensation administration practices and compliance Strong business acumen Candidates must demonstrate advanced Excel skills through a work sample exercise Attention to detail and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word Strong data skills; inclusive of v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information/data into recommendations and presentations Excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when escalation is necessary Excellent organizational skills Capable of working on several projects simultaneously Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy Available for occasional overnight travel (10%) Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Excel including macros Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Experience using Human Resource Information Systems; knowledge of SAP Managing full Compensation related projects / initiatives Identifying trends in the marketplace and making recommendations

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is between $56,500.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
