Title Clerk

As a Title Clerk you will primarily be responsible for handling information regarding motor vehicle registration and process legal documents and other state-required documents. Title clerks must be organized, and detail oriented in handling files and maintaining documents.

Essential Job Functions:

Process the acquisition of titles from original ownersMake lien payoffsTitle transfers to the receiving dealershipEnsures accurate and timely titling/registrations of vehiclesRecord and maintain new and used inventory on IDS Accounting System

Essential Job Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent2+ years' experience in title workWorking knowledge/understanding of title requirements in every state of the U.S. is helpfulFamiliarity with DMV rules and requirementsKnowledge of loan origination functions mandatoryKnowledge of State Tax CodesKnowledge of Sales Tax for multi statesMicrosoft office experience preferredDetailed oriented and well organizedExcellent verbal/written communication skillsMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

Pay Range:

$17.10-$20.31 Hourly
