Job Summary The Title Closing Officer is responsible for all aspects of the real estate closing and ensures proper disbursement of funds. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: + Prepares miscellaneous documents required at closing. + Enters closing figures; balances and funds files. + Ensures closing package is properly executed. + Attends and manages real estate closings. + Reviews title commitment and is responsible for collecting title clearance + Reviews mortgage payoffs for accuracy and transmits payoff funds. + Acts as the liaison between attorneys and lenders at closing. Requirements: + Must have 3+ years of professional experience in the title industry + Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Excellent computer skills and technology + Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail). + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). + Ability to work with confidential information and data. + Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required. + Dynamic personality and strong work ethic. Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
