We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Title Specialist to join our team. The Title Specialist is responsible for the accurate processing of automotive titles for lending partners, reviewing and auditing loan and title documents, and providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a deep understanding of state-specific title laws and the ability to recognize potential fraud.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately process automotive titles for lending partners.
+ Review and audit loan and title documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Provide excellent customer service on outbound and inbound calls, including responding to voicemails, emails, and text messages to obtain missing documentation.
+ Learn, know, and navigate state-specific title laws and requirements for perfecting liens.
+ Create detailed documentation on the system used and create records as needed and directed by policy and procedure.
+ Recognize potential fraud or 'red flags' when reviewing accounts and escalate situations when necessary with customers and the vendor network.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1+ years of experience working specifically with automobile loan and/or titles processing.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, and effective listening skills.
+ Ability to comprehend, retain, and implement required policies, procedures, and tools/systems used.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience processing titles directly (not just sending/gathering documents for a Titles Department or submitting files to a third-party vendor).
+ Ability to explain how to process a title in Indiana and other states across the country.
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite with no remote work available due to the confidential nature of the documents. The office environment includes open cubicles with dual monitors, cabinet/filling space, and room for personal items. The office has recently moved to a new space due to growth, featuring numerous conference rooms, a large training area, and two kitchenettes (lunch/break rooms). The shift can start between 7:30 and 8:30 am as long as an eight-hour shift is completed. The company offers benefits, PTO, 14 holiday days, pet insurance, and health, dental, and vision coverage. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
