Why We're Hiring We are seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant who will serve as a key contributor to the accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and finance operations for the artist merchandising company TITOL.Our Accounting team plays an integral role to each department and their respective business goals.The team collaborates with stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the financial health of the company through accurate and timely reporting and ensuring payments to all parties arrive on time.In this critical role, you will join a group of strategic, detailed-oriented thinkers that thrive in a fast-paced environment while working cross-functionally to ensure the success of the company. TITOL is a fast-paced, high-growth company seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, who thrives working in a collaborative environment. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Director of Finance on day-to-day accounting operations and special projects.What You'll DoPerform day-to-day general ledger accounting operations for month-end close activities including posting journal entries, and preparing reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accountsBook monthly Accrued Processor Receivable, Sales Tax Payable and Deferred Revenue based on Shopify and PayPal reports for the periodRecord detail for touring activity based on artist and venue merch settlementsReconcile receivable activity for Shopify, Paypal, and tour receipts utilizing processor statements from respective portalsPrepare invoices and follow up on outstanding paymentsProcess vendor invoices and creditsProcess domestic and international wire paymentsReconcile vendor statements and investigate any discrepanciesCollect and maintain proper documentation from vendorsEnsure daily bank entries are properly codedComplete annual 1099-Filing for vendorsAssist with annual audit (AP selections)Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred1-3+ years of accounting experienceUnderstanding of generally accepted accounting principlesProficiency in Excel including use of look ups and pivot tablesAbility to work independently, proactively follow-up, and ensure attention to detailExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask in fast paced and high-volume environmentMust show accountability, be a team player and operate with a sense of urgencyExposure to QBO, Google Suite, and Tableau preferredLos Angeles metro area basedWhat We OfferBest in class health, dental, and vision insuranceHealthcare FSA Dependent Care FSA Commuter Benefits FSA Short-term/long-term disability and life insurancePaid Parental leave401k with 4% matchPet InsuranceLegal and Identity Theft PlansVacation time and sick days$28 - $32 an hourThe Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed.
