Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a TK2d Patient Journey Lead who is proactive, scientifically proficient, and empathetic to join us in our Rare & Epilepsy Organization team, based in Milan, Italy.
About the role: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our innovative treatment reaches the patients who need it most, positively impacting the lives of those suffering from TK2d. Reporting directly to the EU TK2d Head and collaborating with a cross-functional team, you will support the identification, proper diagnosis, and treatment for TK2d patients.
Who you’ll work with: You will be working in a team that is dedicated to creating a unique patient experience. This includes partnering with healthcare stakeholders such as neuropediatricians, neuromuscular specialists, geneticists, nurses, and pharmacists, as well as interacting with patient groups to raise awareness and educate on this disease.
What you’ll do:
Partner with healthcare stakeholders to ensure TK2d patients are diagnosed and receive appropriate treatment.Execute disease awareness and educational programs.Establish referral programs to facilitate patients are consulted at centers of excellence.Advocate for TK2d inclusion in mitochondrial and neuromuscular panels.Map Patients Journeys to understand patient pain points and how to mitigate them.Interactions with Patient Associations for patient awareness and educational initiatives.Local point of contact supporting the implementation of approved Access+ programs.Help healthcare providers navigate the ecosystem to secure funding for patients.Ensure smooth transition from clinical trials and Access + programs to continuous treatment.Educate healthcare providers and payors on the safe use of DoxTM.Support patients through centrally developed patient support programs.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare required; Master’s degree preferred.University degree in medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences.7+ years in biotechnology/pharmaceuticals with external engagement experience.5+ years in reimbursement, account management, or KOL development.Experience in rare diseases, neurology, clinical genetics, or metabolic diseases.Strong project management and planning skills, and emotional intelligence.Outcome-driven with a focus on delivering results and fostering collaboration and communication.Field-based position with up to 70% travel required.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Fluency in English and Italian.Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
