GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for spearheading business development initiatives in consumer-to-business and business-to-consumer payment sectors. Engages in client consultation, self-sourcing, and external networking to drive growth. Collaborates closely with local and corporate banking teams and payments groups to expand market presence and optimize transactional efficiencies. Ensures adherence to risk management protocols while enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering positive business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to articulate Fifth Third's value proposition to both internal and external clients to influence the outcome within the sales process. Demonstrate an ability to understand payment and commerce solutions/ processes, as well as proficiency in knowledge of all strategic TM solutions and their benefits to our clients.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferredExperience working in a Wholesale/Commercial Banking environment, at least 5 years of payments experience in a financial services sales environment is preferred.Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding performance goals.Possess a strong desire to constantly strive to improve oneself.Must have strong client interaction skills and has demonstrated the ability to influence the outcome of a sales process.Requires the aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients.Proven product and sales knowledge enough to help mentor new team members.Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of treasury management and depository products.Excellent oral and written skills.Basic proficiency in PC software (MS Office).Ability to build new & existing client relationships.Ability to evaluate client needs.Basic understanding of financial statement analysis.WORKING CONDITIONS:

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the US. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
