What You'll Do

The Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area is one of BCG's industry practice areas, globally serving cutting-edge clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications space. We are seeking a strong co-op candidate to support the Global TMT team in three capacities: supporting the TMT Vantage Team, a group of subject matter experts that advise case teams and clients, as well as TMT Finance, a group that helps shape our firm’s direction and performance, and TMT Marketing, a group that helps build and manage the firm’s reputation for excellence and thought leadership.

 

This position will support the needs of our rapidly growing and expanding business including:

Tracking progress against Key Performance Indicators: Defining priorities, tracking performance and working with leaders to define action areasDeveloping and driving a communications plan: Identifying the right communications cadence (meetings, newsletters) for the Vantage team, and building a senior stakeholder engagement plan through marketing outreachDeveloping and driving a meeting cadence for the team: Helping plan and execute monthly global calls and in-person meetings as neededManaging Vantage Team expenses and contracts: Tracking monthly invoices and plan how to cover costs with KT output.Creating models to analyze data of people in TMT: Building data analysis models to optimize TMT Practice Area efficiency and impact.Publicize Vantage Team tools and innovations: Broadcasting Newsletters with Vantage Team insights and time-saving tools to the wider TMT Practice Area to enhance Case Team output.

 

You will also have the opportunity to interface with colleagues across each of our 3 sectors as well as teams across other BCG functions, e.g. Recruiting, HR etc.

 

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Working collaboratively and flexibly with senior colleagues across the globeData analysis and basic modelling using MS ExcelProfessional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong, clear verbal communication, crisp writing skills for large audiences and familiarity with structured powerpoint presentations for senior leadersOrganized and detail-oriented – able to manage your own agenda and deliverables with discipline - strong sense of ownership and very outcome orientatedConfident and able to engage with senior leadersFlexibility to work with a global team

What You'll Bring

Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the 2025 co-op cyclePreference for someone working on a BS/BA in BusinessPrevious commercial internship experience in Consulting or related fields is considered an asset, but not a requirementDesire to learn quickly and high level of resourcefulness and initiativePassion for the TMT spaceStrong academic performanceStrong MS Office suite experience – Excel and PowerPointAbility to work in fast-paced environmentMust be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program

A team that is committed to working with the leading Telecommunications, Media and Technology companies to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. Our VatnageTeam is globally dispersed and works together virtually using collaboration tools including Slack and Zoom. You will work with the Knowledge Business Director (based in Denver) and Sector experts (located across the Globe), as well as the Global Practice Director (based in Hong Kong)
