A spacious nursery based in SE23 are looking for a Toddler (2-3) Room Leader to join their expanding team. This setting is 2 minutes’ walk from Honor Oak station, and only a 5 minute drive from Forest Hill, Dulwich, Crofton Park and Brockley. The nursery and preschool is open from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year, for children from 3 months to 5 years of age. The setting has been designed with natural, sustainable, neutral materials and colours to create a calm, warm environment, and is regularly updated with new toys, equipment and educational resources.
What we can offer you (benefits):
• Competitive salary – up to £30,000 PA
• 4 ½ days a week (4 x full days 8am-6pm with a 1 hour break and 1 x ½ day 8am-1pm or 1pm 6pm)

What we need from you:
• Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
• Experience in a nursery setting 1 year +
• Commitment
• Passion to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Your duties will include:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas.
• Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basis.
