**Job ID Number** R3108 **Employment Type** Full time **Worksite Flexibility** Onsite **Job Summary** As the Toll Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical schematics, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and ensuring the smooth operation of toll equipment systems. **Job Description** We are looking for a **Toll Equipment Technician** to read and interpret technical schematics, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and ensure the smooth operation of toll equipment systems. This position will be **full-time** and **onsite.** **What You’ll Do** + Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedure + ​Follow written and verbal instructions accurately + Utilize tools such as volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, network analyzers, and basic hand tools + Recognizeelectronic componentsand their functions + Read and interpret technical documents including wiring schematics and equipment manuals + Understand computer network principles,computer repair, fiber optic systems, RF systems,maintenance managementsystems, CCTV systems, UPS maintenance, and facilities maintenance + Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms + Work safely at heights up to thirty (30) feet and lift up to fifty (50) pounds + Determine equipment malfunctions to locate the source of trouble and make repairs or adjustments + Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspection of equipment + Troubleshoot equipment networking issues, perform hardwareinstallationsand cable terminations + Configure toll equipment software, network device IP configurations, and RF configurations + Conduct dailysite inspectionsof tolling equipment and associated systems + Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner + Interpret wiring schematics fortroubleshootingand replacing parts + Diagnose and troubleshoot tolling equipment using various software tools + Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRs + Coordinate with senior technicians for complex malfunctions + Remove, repair, and replace damaged equipment + Assist with the installation and testing of equipment at new and existing tolling sites + Perform additional duties as required **What You'll Need** Required: + Must possess and maintain a valid Class E Driver’s License + Within one year of hire, obtain Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification, Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification, and complete a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course + Knowledge ofelectronic systemsand components + Skilled in the use oftechnical toolsand software environments (Windows,Unix, Linux) + Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentation + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Ability to manage time effectively and work independently when required + Availability for on-call work after normal working hours + Potential for overnight travel **Physical Demands** + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor **Reasonable Accommodation Statement** If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. **Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement** It is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
