Kimley-Horn is seeking a Practice Leader/Senior Project Manager to help lead and continue to grow our Tolling Practice in the California region. Primary responsibilities include managing the delivery of tolling projects (ranging from planning to design) profitably while being actively involved in design issues, partnership with fellow practice builders, client engagement, and overall project oversight. Additional activities include marketing, business development, client contact, and the growth of the tolling practice in the California region and surrounding markets.

Responsibilities The qualified individual will lead a Tolling team while building and managing relationships with key clients. Leadership responsibilities include: Operating with integrity and sound business principals Providing vision, business planning and strategy Establishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a tolling practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience leading tolling projects
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
• Extensive client contacts
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably

 

Base Salary Range: 

$155,000 to 220,000 Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
