Tool and Die Maker-Mid Shift or 2nd Shift - Flexible Hours! SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in Wyomissing, PA. You will be a key member of the manufacturing team by focusing on making dies and tooling to keep production running efficiently. Key Responsibilities + Uses tools and dies to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures. + Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired. + Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts. + Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality. + Regularly tests all equipment, tools, and machines to ensure they are arranged and set properly and working efficiently. + Modifies machines to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced within specifications. + Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Other duties as assigned. The Ideal Candidate + 5+ years of experience in a similar role + Successful completion of an apprentice program or vocational technical training with a licensed professional or established company required. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment. + Working understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra. + Ability to work independently, and with engineers and machinists. + Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time + Ability to lift up to 25-30lbs Our employees are the driving force behind our successful and dynamically growing company.
