Role Summary
Eagle Bend Manufacturing is hiring an experience Tool and Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain dies, fixtures, and all other tooling related to the manufacture and assembly of stamped, roll formed, and welded steel automobile components.

Career advancement program and tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities Work to blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to repair and maintain stamping dies and assembly tooling Support production department with tooling needs; respond to shop-floor calls in a timely manner Assure safe operation and care of tool room equipment Produce quality work in a timely manner Assess complex tooling and equipment needs and refurbish as required Troubleshoot and solve tooling problems without assistance Set up and operate all tool room equipment with no assistance (with exception of CNC equipment) Work to continuously improve tooling and reduce scrap Key Qualifications/Requirements Journeyman Preferred but not necessary with 4 years minimum of experience working as a Tool and Die Maker Tool & Die Maker experience Overhead Crane experience Ability to read tool and die designs and prints Basic shop math and trigonometry Ability to use precise measuring equipment Ability to operate all standard tool room equipment Must be able to work without supervision Ability to train and develop apprentices Individual must be self-motivated Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to communicate well with others Ability to work overtime Additional InformationEquipment/Tools

Working Conditions
Ability to move throughout the plant Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending. Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. may be required Loud work environment; compliance with personal protective equipment as required Ability to manually operate tool room machinery Ability to access tooling both in and out of machines to troubleshoot problems Awareness.
