Tool and Die Maker Responsibilities:

Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments like calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, etc. Analyze blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to strategize the sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies. Assemble and fit parts together using machine tools and hand tools to create, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools. Provide assistance in die changes utilizing a forklift and crane when necessary. Possess the necessary tools to complete projects within designated timelines.

Tool and Die Maker Qualifications:

Holds a 430A Tool and Die License Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field Competent in operating all relevant tool room equipment Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical problems with minimal support
