**Overview** Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints. Plans and lays out construction and repairs to injection molds. Performs bench work to construct, alter, and repair tools. General maintenance and changeover of all plastic injection molds. Training for the first 60 days is during the day and then it could move to nights. The pay rate is $34.58/hour. Machining experience is ideal **Responsibilities** + Embraces and follows the Beliefs and Values of Stryten Energy + Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment. + Helps plan and layout construction of new tools and repairs and alterations to existing tools. + Helps with the troubleshooting and diagnosing tooling problems. + Designs and builds cutting tools and electrodes for all toolroom equipment. + Must be able to safely and efficiently setup and operate the following machine tools in order to make new, repair, or alter tooling components. + Milling machines + Dry and wet surface grinders + Lathes + Electrical discharge machine + Supports the production department by completing in press mold changeovers, polishing and cleaning, and minor repairs when needed. + Moves injection molds around the facility as required by the toolroom and production departments. + Disassembly of injection molds, cleaning, changeover of components, and reassembly of the mold when completed. + Electrical checks of mold heaters and thermocouples. + Water pressure checks of mold. + Complete mold and equipment work orders using computerized CMMS system. + General disassembly, cleanup, repair, and reassembly of secondary production equipment. + Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of the toolroom department as instructed by management. + Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action. + The above list of responsibilities describes normal work but the Supervisor may assign this person to duties not listed when production requirements dictate or when there is not enough work in the regular classification to fill out the workday. **Qualifications** * Hands on experience of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and its related components * Will be required to successfully pass the testing in place with Ramsay Corporation * Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in solving problems with tool and die and mechanical maintenance on automated equipment * Thorough understanding of tool room equipment, operations associated with drilling, milling, surface grinding, and lathe operations * Basic understanding of CNC control and Predictive Maintenance technologies * Demonstrated ability to read and utilize prints and drawings of machine assembly, layouts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Experience using precision instruments in either metric or English measurement systems * Basic understanding of PCs * Good verbal and written communication skills **EEO Statement** Stryten Energy is an equal opportunity employer where an applicant's qualifications are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other basis prohibited by law. **About Statement** Stryten Energy helps solve the world’s most pressing energy challenges with a broad range of energy storage solutions across the Essential Power, Motive Power, Transportation, Military and Government sectors.
