Job Description

The successful candidate (s) will, upon completion of training:

Perform mill & lathe work: Modify and repair mold equipment, mold holders, fixtures, jigs, etc. Perform Bench Operations such as blending, shaping, matching cavities, making capacity corrections, necessary cavity relief and pantograph work where standard numerals and monograms are used

Make changes in design or capacity of the molds based on customer demands

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GEDMust possess a Tool and Die Maker License 430AExperience with precision measuring devices, such as calipers, depth gauges, and micrometersMachinist skills in measuring and setting up lathes & millsAbility to read and comprehend blueprintsAbility/experience in grinding out fatigued metal and welding in new materialMechanically Inclined Ability to learn new repair techniquesA desire to learn and grow into the Journeyman positionMold Repair Experience preferred (Plastic injection, glass)Welding/fabrication experience also helpfulMust be able to work overtime, including weekend and overnight shiftsMust be able to work continental 12h shifts
