Title: Tool Designer Engineer

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Tool Designer looking for a rewarding career with a company that values craftsmanship and innovation? We are seeking a skilled Tooling Designer Engineer to join our precision manufacturing team, specializing in fixtures and gages for cast and machined components.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing tooling based on customer specifications, creating detailed drawings, and selecting appropriate raw materials and components. You will collaborate closely with our shop floor personnel to improve the manufacturability of your designs and communicate with customers to clarify requirements.

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

- Proficient in Siemens NX9 or higher CAD software
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing fixtures and gages
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to manage the full design process from concept to final drawings
- Solid understanding of machining operations
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Bonus skills:
- Experience with SolidWorks 2014 or newer
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with turbine engine components
