Job Type: Full time; temp-to-hire 12 months
Schedule: Onsite; 1st shift
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Performed:
As assigned, and working under general supervision, this position will interface and support all facilities, suppliers, and government agencies with tool control and tool accountability data, reports and schedule packages.
This position determines and performs processes from systems and tooling databases the most efficient and expedient method to create, track and maintain systems to control, to protect, and preserve Government/BHTI owned tooling assets.
Manage tooling databases to track, protect, and preserve assets.
Create and maintain tooling scrap schedules.
Maintain official property records under FAR and contract terms.
Support DCMA audits and tooling work orders.
Oversee tool transfers and contract closure activities.
Ensure supplier inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Experience, Education & Other Requirements:
2+ years of college or equivalent experience in Special Tooling (ST) and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of FAR, tooling databases, and Microsoft Office.
Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
