Tool & Fixture Specialist - First Shift

Job Summary

Tool & Fixture Specialists analyze drawings and specifications to perform precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting of components to make and repair tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.  Works within very tight tolerances.  Uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Shift: First Shift

TUE-FRI, 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fabrication, fitting, and repair of components to assemble units Calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Gaining proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.

High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in a related field Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time. Strong attention to detail and ability to improve processes by identifying root causes Able to visualize and communicate how something will look after it is completed, moved or changed

Pay Range:

 $29.01-$43.50/hour based on experience
