Tool Inventory Engineer

Responsibilities:
 

Develop an inventory methodology and categorization system (in collaboration with shop personnel).Conduct a thorough physical inventory of all tools, including:Tool type (e.g., end mill, drill bit, insert)Manufacturer and model numberDimensions (diameter, length, etc.)Specifications (material, coating, number of flutes, etc.)Current location (machine, tool crib, etc.)Condition assessment Create a standardized data entry template (spreadsheet or custom form designed with TDM software input fields in mind).Consolidate inventory data, including any existing records.Photograph each tool type for reference.Work with the TDM software provider (if necessary) to understand data structure requirements.Import tool data from the catalog into the TDM software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Establish tool identification and labeling system (if applicable) for integration with TDM system.Experience: 5 to 8 years

Bill Rate: $40/ hour

Desired Skills:
Preferred working experience in Oil & Gas domain Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Proven working experience in technical authoring Strong experience using illustration tools creating interactive & visual procedures & documentation. Experience on Teamcenter Experience in new technical documentation and revision & maintenance of existing documentation. Hands on experience working on any content management tool Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text & pictures & with visual interpretation Excellent oral & written communication skills in English language
