Tool Repair Administrative Associate

A company in San Diego is looking for a tool repair administrative assistant that will sit in their tool repair shop and coordinate activities there. This person will be responsible for communicating with group personnel about dollar amounts left on purchase orders. This person will be responsible for completing approximately 20-30 tool repair orders a week. Completing a tool repair order will require ordering parts in Ariba, tracking the shipment, properly documenting the purchase, and organizing the parts upon arrival. This person will be responsible for completing 5-10 purchase requests a week. Completing a purchase request will require vendor communication/awareness, properly documenting the purchase, tracking the shipment, and organizing the materials upon arrival. This person will be responsible for writing up (properly documenting) all purchasing activity and communicating with tool technicians about what comes in. This person will also be responsible for ensuring all orders are correct by cross referencing part and tool numbers from orders against what actually gets delivered. The working hours for this position will be from 6 AM - 2:30 PM in person every day of the week (Monday - Friday).
