Tool Room Attendant
**Tool Room Attendant** **Job Description** + Maintains tool functionality by receiving, inspecting, and cataloging incoming tools and equipment. + Organizes and maintains the tool crib to ensure easy access and efficient storage. + Issues tools and equipment to employees as needed, keeping accurate records of all transactions. + Performs regular inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of stock levels. + Collaborates with the procurement team to procure necessary tools and equipment. + Coordinates with vendors for tool repairs or replacements as needed. + Assists in demand planning by analyzing usage patterns and forecasting future needs. + Analyzes tool-related issues to prevent recurrence. + Organizes stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location. + Maintains accurate records of products that have been stocked and provides management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received. + Verifies all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensures all goods are in excellent condition. + Monitors and reports any missing or lost inventory to management. + Properly packs items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. + Organizes and sorts items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards. + Accurately maintains the company database including all stock and warehouse items. + Reliably retrieves items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped. + Assists departments with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely. + Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and other related documentation as directed. + Conducts supplier and material analysis. + Assists and/or issues purchase order follow-ups to ensure on-time deliveries and correct pricing, terms, and specifications. + Handles special projects and research for the department. + Works cross-functionally between buying and operations. + Tracks orders and manages the supply chain to streamline operations from vendors. **Hard Skills** + Proficient with Microsoft Office Word + Excel + PowerPoint + Outlook **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in National City, California. **Work Environment** Work will be at the warehouse and the candidate will be working independently.
