General Job Description:\n

Works under the direction of a foreman, receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.\n
\n

Functional Requirements:\n

Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials, tools from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handles by material handling devices; operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves; assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color; fills requisitions for materials, tools or stock items; records material items received or distributed; may maintain inventory records; performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain clean and safe work area; performs additional assignments as required; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.\n
\n

Qualification Standards:\n\nPreferably one (1) to three (3) years of experience in specified skill\nPre-employment qualification test if applicable\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\nHazard Communication orientation\/test\nTurner Industries Group Indoctrination\nOSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)\nJob site orientation\nJob site \"Personal Protective Equipment\" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.)\nApplicant\/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place\n\n
