Summary
The Tool Room Intern will be responsible for supporting the tool room department in all aspects of manufacturing operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory control. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position requires minimal supervision and offers opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Assist with daily tasks such as scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.
· Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
· Maintain accurate records of tool usage and repair history.
· Collaborate with other departments on projects related to tool design or modification.
· Troubleshoot issues with equipment or processes.
· Conduct quality assurance checks on finished products.
· Operate basic hand tools and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
· Follow safety protocols at all times during work hours.
· Adhere to company policies regarding dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
