JOB SUMMARY:
Perform duties and responsibilities relating to the shop tools under the direction of the Department Manager in accordance with policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Secure, monitor, and maintain shop tools.Maintain, replenish, and order shop hardware and supplies.Assist with building maintenance duties as directed.Repair tools and ground support equipment.Control non-inventory purchase system and issue non-inventory purchase orders for maintenance and parts departments.Route tools and equipment requiring outside services to proper vendor.Maintain file of Material Safety Data Sheets.Stock shelves.Ascertain tools are within calibration dates and send out for calibration prior to expiration dates.Ascertain chemical/solvents/adhesives are in shelf life.Assist in other areas as required.JOB SUMMARY:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of related experience is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP and Lawson experienced preferred.Hazardous waste management preferred.Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English required.Knowledge of aircraft maintenance tools system.Ability to assure simple calibration accuracy with attention to detail.Knowledge in aircraft products/parts supplier system, identification, and classification with AN, MS hardware.Skills in inventory and identification to maintain shelf-life currency.Safety and quality conscious and service-oriented knowledge.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.Knowledge of shipping modes and procedures.Valid driver’s license.Proficient computer skills.Ability to obtain and maintain an airport badge through the local airport authority.
