Purpose of Role: Provides valuable tooling maintenance that helps control quality results. This position works with cross functional teams to help improve quality of foundry tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Pattern coordination: Coordinate with No Bake molding supervision to pull patterns from production to perform preventative maintenance and cleaning.Core cleaning: Cleaning laempe core boxes, cleaning palmer 200 core boxes, cleaning no bake patterns, performing minor pattern repairCutting proficiency: Must be familiar with saws and other cutting devices.Tool expertise: Must be able to use hand tools and sand blasting equipment safelyMixing ratios: Able to understand ratio for the process of mixing plasticMeasurement skills: ability to read a tape measure, add and subtract fractions, metric to inches conversions and critical thinking skillsShop calculations: Must be able to perform shop mathSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.Education: High School Diploma/GED
