Education, Experience & Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of tool products, features, and applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results.Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM softwareEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing solutions in a timely manner.Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to assess client needs and gather feedback.Sales and Account Growth:Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling of tool products and services.Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports on account performance, forecasting future sales trends.Product Knowledge and Support:Stay informed about the latest tool products, technologies, and industry trends.Provide technical support and product information to clients, assisting them in selecting the right tools for their needs.Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide insights and feedback from clients.Collaboration and Coordination:Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.Coordinate with the sales team to align sales strategies and share best practices.Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our tool offerings and expand the client base.Problem Solving:Address and resolve any issues related to product delivery, quality, or customer service.Implement corrective actions and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.Provide assistance with sales, technical & application trainingDevelop, present and target new growth business opportunities in line with HFS strategyProvide support for field training activities for other Account Managers, distributors and customersRecommend the addition of new products and the modification/replacement of existing products within customer baseCoordinate with product management and/or contract management to insure timely submittal of quotes and packagesMonitor and take sales actions as needed to achieve annual sales budgetsReport to senior management in efficient manner the strategic and key subjects/eventsCompile & submit accurate sales reports/forecasts in a timely mannerReview and manage contract requirements to ensure they are within limits of established policies and procedures, including commercial and intellectual property (patent, trademark, licensing) requirements. Manage contract compliance of assigned customers to insure budget attainment.Adhere to all company policies and procedures in link with the company values, ethics & compliance.Adhere to all company policies and procedures and environmental health and safety rules. Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and environment. Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions. Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.
