Responsibilities
Job Summary:
This position ensures that production runs efficiently by preparing and cleaning tools for production, and equipment conversion. Also supports production operations while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Compression molder and downstream equipment conversions
Preventative maintenance activities Toolroom support as required Support continuous improvement initiatives Follow good manufacturing practices Participate in daily team meetingsStop, report, correct any issues associated with unsafe machine or operating conditionsInitiate action to prevent occurrences of any nonconforming product or quality systemsIdentify and record problems relating to product, process and quality systemVerify the implementation of solutions Reading tool drawings assembly prints Using precision measurement tools (calipers, indicators, setup fixture, feeler gages) Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsQualifications
Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Maintain an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime. High school diploma or degree in related fieldRead, write, and speak English. Capable of Utilizing Berry’s operating and support systems (JDE, Ignition, WebEFF, etc.). Experience/proven ability within the specified disciplines.
