Tooling Technician - Weekends

Scheduled Hours: Thursday-Sunday 5:00am - 3:30pm (4x10 schedule)
Job Summary:
The tooling technician’s main role will be to perform maintenance on production tooling. This will include inspecting the diameter of bushings and replacing if necessary, mold buffing/taping, mold repair (metal and composite), and replacing casters. Other tasks might include troubleshooting mechanical systems, creating specialty tooling, and fixing broken production equipment. Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions. Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.

Good dexterity Strong understanding of mechanical systems and how they work Mechanical Experience Know how to use hand tools Be able to read an engineering drawing Basic computer skills Be able to work independently with general supervision Good attention to detailPreferred But Not Required:
Basic Welding skills (MIG)Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Three plus years relevant work experience required
