Job Description Insight Global is seeking a qualified Senior Threat Modeling Engineer to work fully on-site in support of one of are large federal clients. This position will be a 6 month contract-to-hire format where the candidate's day to day will include but is not limited to: -Lead the development of Electronic Warfare (EW) models and simulations of ground systems. -Apply technical expertise and software development best practices. -Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. -Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. -Client site interaction and customer interface. Team: The candidate will be engaged with client team software engineers as well as their sub team who builds many of the specialized models. The candidate will be reporting to the Program Manager for day-to-day tasking. A Lead Associate / ISSO will act as another point of contact. Skills and Requirements Experience with software modeling and a variety of fidelity levels, including ground force weapon and C4ISR systems  Knowledge of C++ and Python  Knowledge of MATLAB or Simulink  Ability to learn or understand an engineering level system such as Radars, RF sensors, EW, tanks, artillery, rockets, UAS, radios, and directed energy systems  Top Secret DoD clearance  Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics  8+ years of relevant experience Experience working with Army ground systems  Ability to engage with Senior level clients  Experience using relevant modeling tools: AFsim, Odessa, Itase  Knowledge of fidelity levels of modeling, including parametric, engineering, and emulative  Knowledge of simulation environments, including the Integrated Threat Analysis Simulation Environment (ITASE) and Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)  TS/SCI clearance  Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics  Have a good understanding of Agile or Jira  Strong understanding of RF hardware component and interaction.  Signal processing algorithm development and firmware.  Army / Air Force mission experience. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
