Salary: Current Salary per GTA Contract

Supervisor: Abigale Terrana, Director of Student Services & School Improvement
Minimum Requirements:
New York State TEACH Certification in one of the following areas:
School Counselor
Social Worker
Teacher
Training in Restorative Practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading professional learning
- Experience developing curriculum
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly District Restorative Practice TOSA meetings
- Support quarterly District Restorative Practice team meetings
- Provide coaching to building Restorative practice teams
- Lead team in the development of district wide lessons including character connections, accountability projects, and other skill development lessons.
- Support coordination of Teen Court and Peer Accountability Council (PAC)
- Create and Provide professional learning for restorative practices
- Support buildings with the implementation and expansion of restorative practices.
- Assist building teams with identifying data to be collected
- Support goal setting using the 4DX model for Restorative Practice Teams
- Support and coach building teams with the creation and maintenance of peer mediation programs.
- Serve on district committees to bring restorative practices perspective, as needed
- Other job duties as assigned
- May be required to mentor new hires across the district as needed with supervisor approval
- This position may be called on to substitute in classroom(s) when the need for a daily substitute arises. In very rare cases, this position may be called upon to fulfill a vacancy in the appropriate tenure area until the vacancy can be filled.
- The individual in this position may be invited to attend Summer Leadership Academy (SLA) and will be compensated at the Professional Rate ($35/hour).
