Job Description: Test Automation Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Architect to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement test automation strategies that align with our project goals, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to define and refine test automation strategies, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives. Automation Execution: Lead the implementation and execution of automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing. Technical Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the test automation team, fostering adherence to best practices and industry standards. Customization and Enhancement: Tailor and extend Tricentis Tosca functionalities to meet specific project needs and improve overall test automation capabilities. Integration: Seamlessly integrate Tricentis Tosca with tools like Qtest for Test Management and Azure DevOps for Features/User Stories, enhancing our software development lifecycle (SDLC) through CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking systems. Analysis and Optimization: Analyze test results to identify opportunities for optimizing test coverage and enhancing efficiency in testing processes. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues related to Tricentis Tosca implementation and automation processes, ensuring smooth operation.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 15+ years in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. 12+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, particularly with Tricentis Tosca. Framework Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca. Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Selenium, Java, C#, or Python. Agile Proficiency: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a history of working within Agile development teams. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams. Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams. Certification: Tricentis Tosca certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Tosca Automation Engineer) is required.
