Total Rewards Analyst
JOB TITLE:  Total Rewards Analyst   GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:     This role provides administrative support for the organization’s compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs, which include merit programs, bonus programs, salary survey responses, job evaluations, retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies, such as health, life, and disability insurance, milestone and other recognition programs, and other plans and programs that fall under total rewards.   RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:      Compensation Program Support Participate in salary surveys to gather labor market data for the company for the areas assigned Perform job evaluations. Make recommendations for the grading of jobs, participation in bonus programs, and the base salary that should be offered to be competitive with the local labor market Support the annual merit and bonus programs. Coordinate training of managers so they can participate in the events and administer the merit and bonus programs for the areas assigned   Benefits Program Support Maintain current and accurate program documentation, meet filing deadlines, and ensure program compliance with applicable regulations Work with outside vendors to ensure smooth operation of our benefits plans and to resolve employee and employer issues Establish and execute communication plans that comply with regulations and keep employees properly informed about their benefits Provide support to employees or troubleshoot benefit eligibility, claims, enrollment, and other issues that arise Review competitive practice information on our benefits programs and make recommendations to improve our benefits programs, reduce costs, and maintain a competitive benefit offering for the areas assigned Total Rewards Program Support Support the broader Total Rewards team in other total rewards programs, including: recognition, and wellness. Other Coordinate and administer wellness initiatives, accounts payables for applicable vendors, flu shot clinic, and other projects as assigned  Required:   4-year degree or equivalent 3+ years of Human Resources Strong analytical skills, problem solving, organizational skills, and detail orientated In-depth knowledge of benefit plans and regulations Ability and willingness to use independent judgment and make decisions Ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to resolve a wide variety of issues independently, effectively, and efficiently Working knowledge of Microsoft office products Strong verbal and written communication skill Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate well with employees at all levels of the company Prior experience in Total Rewards (compensation and/or benefits) preferred CONTACTS AND COMMUNICATIONS: 

Internal: Frequently provides answers to various benefits questions for headquarters and field employees. Frequently provides answers and assistance with problem solving on all benefits topics for plant HR staff. Occasionally answers questions for executive employees while maintaining executive benefit program.   External: Frequently works directly with vendors and brokers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Occasionally supplies information to requests from benefit vendors or brokers.
