Job Description

Ownership, design, expert support for the broad range of Compensation & Benefit activities and services. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Individuals and experts providing design, delivery and expertise in both compensation and benefits, as well as any corresponding compliance requirements, systems and tools.Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills.Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

Greater than 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, specifically in Compensation and Benefits.Master’s degree in Human Resources from an accredited university or college.Strong analytical abilities, particularly using MS Excel. Ability to analyze and solve problems.Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in creating presentations using MS PowerPoint.Basic co-ordination, planning, execution and project management skills.Curiosity, the ability to navigate through ambiguity with a positive outlook, and engage in creative problem-solving.

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accountancy, or a related field is highly desirable.Knowledge of Total Rewards practices of Asean countries
