This position is time-limited due to it being project focused. The anticipated duration of the position is until approximately June 2026.
The Total Rewards Associate is an entry level position that supports the Benefits, Compensation, and Occupational Health teams. The role focuses on supporting data entry, audit reconciliation, and customer support. This position works closely with senior team members to ensure data integrity and process evaluation. The work will be focused on supporting the staffing and the opening of the new inpatient tower.
Function/Duties of PositionKey Responsibilities & Performance Standards
Compensation Support
Compensation related data input, including initial position, position number changes, and maintenance of compensation plan and classification specifications on HR website.Compensation audit reconciliation including system updates and communication to impacted managers and HRBPsDevelops as needed: ad hoc reports or downloads related to compensation activities and analyses.Actively participates in ongoing review of compensation processes, policies and tools. This includes assisting with the management of job documentation, position descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes, salary grades, etc.Benefits Support
Assign and respond to employee inquiries in the Benefits, Retirement and Employee Leaves and accommodations general email inbox; answer general phone line; respond to requests and questions from employees and managers; assist with complex emails and phone calls.Present to employees at New Hire Orientation and other sessions.Process benefit corrections and retroactive adjustments; troubleshoot employee issues with vendors; complete urgent adds; process variety of court-ordered insurance items.Conduct weekly, bi-weekly and monthly audits/reports.Total Rewards Support

Experience with union contractsKnowledge of HR principles and practicesKnowledge and experience with compensation programs/principle such as classifications, salary surveys, compensation structures, etcAbility to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information.Intermediate level experience with ExcelAbility to manage small projects from concept to implementation. Can take a set of requirements to define and scope a project, develop a plan, implement the plan and then bring closure to the project through a review.Attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks within inflexible and rapidly changing deadlines.Good organization, follow through and time management skills; ability to prioritize.
