Purpose of Role
This Total Rewards Partner role is responsible for a country or cluster of countries, both Life and non-Life. The Total Rewards Partner plays a critical role in ensuring that the company's compensation and benefits programs are fair, compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives for the businesses they support and partner with. This role is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive total rewards offers effectively attract, retain, and motivate talents while promoting equality and inclusivity in the country/ cluster of countries they are responsible for. At the same time the Total Rewards Partner, as a part of the regional Total Rewards teams will lead or participate in projects, execute regional or global initiatives in the country/ cluster of countries or across APAC.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy: Contribute to the TR strategy for the region. Compensation and Benefits: Execute and manage compensation and benefits programs, including annual salary review, incentive plans, benefits programs for the country/ cluster of countries they are responsible for. Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with country-specific regulations and ensure that all compensation and benefits practices adhere to tax and employment laws. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any issues. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze compensation and benefits data to make informed decisions and recommend program improvements and adjustments. Communication and Education: Provide training to HR team and support HRBP’s in educating employees and managers where needed, on the company's total rewards programs and policies and ensure clear and consistent program regarding compensation and benefits changes. Governance: Ensure changes to follow the internal governance Projects: Lead or participate in regional and global rewards initiatives and projects Vendor Management: May work with and oversee external vendors, eg. benefits providers, brokers, survey firms, to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining strong vendor relationships.Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field. Relevant certification or professional accreditation in compensation and benefits (e.g. CSCP, CCP) is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in total rewards with a deep understanding of country-specific regulations, tax, and employment laws. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Excel Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts to employees and leadership. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Strong attention to details and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.Knowledge of best practices in compensation, benefits, and total rewards within the insurance or financial industry is advantageous.
